Cross River State is endowed with varied range of solid minerals. The mineral are strewn across the state and vary between metallic and non – metallic.
Presently there is no significant exploration and processing of solid minerals in the state except Limestone for cement manufacturing and granite quarrying for construction industries.
Over 25 different mineral resources have been identified across the state but reliable information on quantity, quality, are yet to be made available to prospective investors.
